The main USP for this trailer is the fact that there are millions of young footballers, who have experienced an event similar to Santiago Munez. Football is also a huge market for several different people around the world, millions of people talk about it, watch it and play it everyday, therefore appealing to a lot of people around the world, this film could also be described as different, due to the fact that there aren't many films that involve sport and drama, although the audience for this genre would be fairly large, due to the immense interest in football.

Goal! also involves a bulk of big names, however wouldn't appear in a blockbuster film. Footballing stars such as Zinedine Zidane, Steven Gerrard, Alan Shearer and David Beckham all make an appearance in this movie therefore increasing the audiences interest in the film.
Target audience
The target audience for this production would be aimed at 12-35 year old males, as football is predominatly a male interest worldwide. Football is watched by 90% men and 10% women, therefore 90% of the audience is likely to be male.
Music
Their are variations in genre of music throughout this trailer. Genres such as Chinese gong, pop, hip hop and rock. The music gradually gets heavier throughout the trailer which suggests to the audience the intense emotions Santiago Munez is feeling during his adventure.
'Club Foot- Kasabian' is a very famous song, known to many football fans as this song is commonly associated with football due to appearing on many TV shows such as Soccer AM, therefore this song matches the type of genre for the film.
Shot types/camera angles
Close up shots are used in the trailer in order to show the unstable emotions that Santiago is experiencing, for example a close up shot of Santiago is used when he is crying, to show that he is devastated that his trial with Newcastle did not work out.

A close up shot also shows Santiago pulling up his football socks with a cardboard shin pad, this shows the drastic change to Santiago life as he goes from not being able to afford shin pads, to being a famous footballer playing in the premier league.
Pace
The Pace of the trailer varies throughout the trailer. The pace of the trailer increases when the action starts to take place, e.g.) Football matches and training. The pace then decreases when conversations between Santiago and other characters commence.
Dialogue
Dialogue is used several times in this trailer. Martin Tyler who is a very famous football commentator makes an appearance in the trailer in which he says in his famous voice 'it is now, quite a day, for this young man' this statement from the film suggests to the audience that this is the make or break of his career which is what the whole trailer has led up to.
Voiceover
There is a voiceover during the entirety of the trailer giving the audience an idea of the basic information towards the film, such as 'pursue a dream' this shows the audience that his ambition in life is to make his dream come true.
The sound of the voiceover has a dramatic atmosphere to it which increases intensity of the trailer.
Special effects
There are little special effects used in this trailer however, thunder and lightning is used as special effects in this film, in order to emphasise the  english weather and how difficult the conditions are when playing football, this was used as almost a complication in the trailer for Santiago's dream to be a worldwide known footballer.
Credits and intertitles
There is only one moment in the whole trailer in which some form of inter title is used which is at the end of the trailer in which the name of the film is revealed and the film website, this part of the audience is used for advertising purposes so that the audience remember the name of the film and so that they know where to go when they want to find out information about the film.
